how millie b began
millie b started as a little boutique, selling market jewelry and other fun boutique-style treasures. on an odd note, there was one thing I never liked: nutcrackers. They always looked mean, felt stiff, and honestly… just didn’t match my home.
i decided to make the ones i actually wanted! my mom and i bought a few unfinished wooden nutcrackers, painted them, glazed them, and even glued hair on them. they were so cute and i loved them immediately.
i shared them in an interior design Facebook group, just for fun, and the response was unbelievable. In no time, nearly 30 women were asking for their own hand-painted nutcrackers! that’s how this nutcracker gig was born. out of a love for creating things that feel beautiful, whimsical, and truly personal.
today, we continue to hand-paint each nutcracker and home decor piece with care, creativity, and a touch of joy, making decor that brings a little magic into your home for years to come.
